Welcome to Quality Time Detailing. By scheduling services, purchasing products, leaving a vehicle in our care, or otherwise doing business with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Our Commitment
Quality Time Detailing is committed to providing professional, high-quality automotive detailing, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, and related services. We take every reasonable precaution to protect our customers' vehicles and perform all services using industry-accepted methods and best practices.
Vehicle Condition
Customers are responsible for informing us of any pre-existing damage, prior repairs, repainted panels, aftermarket modifications, mechanical issues, or other conditions that may affect our services.
We reserve the right to document vehicle condition through photographs, videos, written inspection reports, or other records before, during, and after service.
Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installation & Removal
PPF installation and removal involve adhesives and materials that interact directly with a vehicle's painted and finished surfaces. While we exercise extreme care and utilize professional installation and removal techniques, certain risks cannot be eliminated.
Quality Time Detailing shall not be responsible for damage resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Previously repainted panels or non-factory paintwork.
• Defective, weakened, deteriorated, or improperly cured paint.
• Existing paint damage, chips, cracks, scratches, or delamination.
• Improper prior repairs or bodywork.
• Manufacturer defects.
• Surface conditions not visible prior to service.
Customers acknowledge that PPF removal may reveal pre-existing defects or cause paint failure where paint adhesion has been compromised before the vehicle arrived at our facility.
Ceramic Coating & Surface Protection Services
The longevity and performance of ceramic coatings and other protective products depend on proper maintenance, environmental conditions, vehicle usage, and adherence to recommended care instructions.
No coating or protective product can prevent all scratches, rock chips, stains, or environmental damage.
Vehicle Storage & Property Liability
Reasonable care will be taken while vehicles are on our property. However, Quality Time Detailing is not responsible for loss, theft, vandalism, weather-related damage, acts of nature, third-party actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Except where damage is directly caused by our negligence, customers agree that Quality Time Detailing shall not be liable for damage occurring while a vehicle is parked, stored, or awaiting pickup on our premises.
Customers are encouraged to maintain comprehensive automotive insurance coverage.
Personal Property
Please remove all valuables and personal belongings before service. Quality Time Detailing is not responsible for personal property left inside vehicles.
Service Approval
By authorizing services, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and approved the requested work and associated pricing.
Additional services requested after work begins may result in additional charges.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Vehicles may be withheld until outstanding balances have been paid in full, subject to applicable Maryland law.
Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of our services, refunds are generally not available once services have been completed.
If a customer believes a service was not performed as agreed, they must notify Quality Time Detailing within seven (7) calendar days of service completion. We reserve the right to inspect the vehicle and, when appropriate, correct any verified workmanship-related issues.
At our sole discretion, remedies may include re-performance of the affected service, repair of workmanship-related concerns, partial account credit, or another reasonable resolution.
Refund requests based solely on customer preference, changes of mind, vehicle conditions outside our control, normal wear and tear, subsequent damage, third-party work, or issues arising after the vehicle has left our care may be denied.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact Quality Time Detailing before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we may attempt to resolve any concerns in good faith.
In the event of a payment dispute, Quality Time Detailing reserves the right to provide documentation supporting the completed services, including photographs, invoices, signed authorizations, communications, inspection records, and other relevant evidence.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quality Time Detailing's liability for any claim arising from services provided shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Quality Time Detailing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland.
